The Kenyon Midget Series opens the 2025 campaign with the certainty of seeing a different champion crowned as one of several potential stories. Defending champion Ryan Huggler has decided to follow what has become a regular happening with the United States Speed Association and has elected to tackle sprint car racing this year.

The field of returning drivers include 2023 Redline Ace Rookie of the Year Evan Hammond who finished third in the point standings that year and advanced to the runner-up spot a year ago. Landon Brown, the 2024 rookie of the year, is expected to compete most of the season. Both Hammond and Brown although knocking on the door have yet to score a feature win, a goal on the list for both drivers in 2025.

Three-time champion Dameron Taylor is coming off an impressive 2024 season with five feature wins.

There are potentially six drivers contending for the Redline Ace Rookie of the Year honors in 2025. Evan Patton and Clayton Bohanon both ran a limited schedule in 2024, and remain eligible for the Redline Ace Rookie of the Year. They will be battling for the honors with newcomers Kaleb Case, Andrew Wall, Austin Pierce and Brian Richardson.

The season also brings the “Golden Ticket” give away at the end of the season and some driver is going to earn a $2,000 bonus. Drivers receive a “golden ticket” for each start and bonus tickets if they made all the races.

KRJ Race Products is returning to sponsor heat races, Advanced Racing Suspensions the hard charger award and K&K Marketing the fast qualifier award. Jeff Hill Trailer Sales joins the series as the 2025 Victory Lane sponsor. Elite Performance has partnered with the series to elevate physical fitness awareness and conditioning within the racing community.

In the long standing tradition for the Kenyon Midget Series the season kicks off on the lightning fast Anderson Speedway with the 7th running of the Dick Jordan Classic where Clayton Gaines emerged the victor a year ago followed by Taylor and Hammond.

Taylor has won the Dick Jordan Classic twice with Aryton Houk, Sam Kinds and Cameron Gladish scoring victories.
