K&K Marketing announces “Top Gun” award

PENDLETON – Officials with the Kenyon Midget Series announced the creation of a new year-end award for series competitors.

For several years K&K Marketing has been sponsoring the fast qualifier award at Anderson Speedway and the program was expanded to all venues in 2022.

K&K Marketing officials are pleased to announce the “Top Gun” award for the driver that scores the most points during qualifications at all Kenyon Midget Series events in 2023. The Top Gun award carries an award of $150. The award will be based on points during qualifications with the top 5 qualifiers all earning points toward the Top Gun award.

Only official Kenyon Midget Series qualifying positions will be used for the awarding of the points. In the event of a tie, the driver with the most fast times will be named the series “Top Gun”.

“We have always wanted to support the Kenyon Midget Series over the years,” Kelly de la Bastide, co-owner of K&K Marketing, said. “Presenting an annual award is allowing us to further support the series and competitors”.
