2023 Rulebook Released

The USSA Kenyon Midget Series Rulebook for the upcoming 2023 season has been released. All teams and drivers are responsible for competing under the current rules.

The rulebook is available here: 2023 Rulebook

We have reviewed all of our safety rules for 2023. We continue to guide our safety rules by the standards set forth by the SFI Foundation. Please be sure that your safety gear meets the SFI requirements as listed in the rulebook. Also for 2023, we have specifically updated the helmet rule. All helmets must now meet Snell SA2010 or SFI 31.1/2010 at a minimum. All helmets must have the certification stickers indicating compliance with these 2010 (or newer) standards.

A few of the racing procedures have been updated to better align with the 500 Sprint Car Tour. Since we will be racing alongside the 500 Sprint Car Tour several times in 2023, we wanted to present a consistent program between the sprints and midgets. This is also intended to allow our Kenyon Midget racers an opportunity to become familiar with the sprint car event procedures, and prepare them for the possibility of moving up to the Sprint car series in the future. Changes to race procedures will be highlighted at our drivers meetings prior to events, but please read through the rules to become familiar with our procedures before your first event of the season.

Our points awarded for each event have been updated slightly. This is again to align with the 500 Sprint Car Tour. These are minor updates to the Feature and Qualifying points tables. You can see the full point distribution details on the rule book.

If there are any questions about the rulebook, please reach out, and we will be happy to answer any questions.
